Privacy policy

1. The company Palamar Steel s.r.o., ID No.: 24269409, with its registered office at Nad Mezí 354, Přemyšlení, Zdiby, postal code 250 66, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, retains the following personal data:

– First name and surname,
– E-mail address,
– Communication, information and documents that the customer provides as part of an enquiry.

In accordance with the applicable laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter the “Regulation”), for the purpose of performing a contract and further for the purpose of keeping records of the contract and the possible future exercise and defence of the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. Personal data are retained and processed for the above purpose for 10 years from the performance of the last part of the contract, unless another legal regulation requires the contractual documentation to be kept for a longer period. The above processing is permitted on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation – processing necessary for the performance of a contract.

2. Personal data are processed by Palamar Steel s.r.o.; however, personal data may also be processed or stored for us by the following processors:

WEDOS – (hosting provider)

Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google Analytics)

TOPlist (toplist.cz) – a website traffic measurement service. It processes anonymous visit data, for example browser type, screen resolution and referring page.

Google Search Console – Google Search Console provides some information about access to our website via the Google search engine and from other websites. This service does not directly provide us with any personal data. Google reCAPTCHA – To prevent spam, we also use the Google reCAPTCHA v3 service to verify that the contact form is being filled in by a real person and not a robot. In this case, some data are sent to Google LLC to verify your interaction with the website. Palamar Steel s.r.o. then has access only to diagnostic data. 3. The personal data we obtain (name, surname and e-mail) are kept only for communication purposes in an e-mail inbox, for as long as is necessary for that communication.

Before the information from a completed contact form is downloaded, the entire content of the form is processed on the servers of WEDOS Internet, a.s. The terms and conditions of WEDOS Internet, a.s. can be found here: https://www.wedos.cz/podminky. If you decide to fill in any contact form, a robot sends an e-mail with the information you entered to the mailbox palamar@seznam.cz, hosted by Seznam. 4. Cookies are small amounts of data that our servers send to your computer and that allow better use of our servers and the adaptation of their content to your needs.

Almost every website in the world uses cookies. Cookies make a repeatedly visited website more user-friendly and are therefore useful to you. If you use the same computer and the same web browser to visit our website, cookies help your computer remember the pages visited and your page settings.

Cookies of the operators of advertising systems running on our website may also be stored on your computer through our website. As part of remarketing, our company also uses Google systems. We use remarketing data solely to segment visitors in order to deliver more relevant advertising messages. The segments are created on the basis of several general patterns of visitor behaviour.

In your browser settings you can manually delete or block individual cookies or disable their use entirely; they can also be blocked or allowed only for individual websites. We do not use cookies for any purposes other than purely technical ones, we do not combine the data obtained through them with any other data, and we work with cookies in such a way that they do not allow specific persons to be identified.

There are temporary cookies and persistent cookies. Temporary cookies are stored on your computer only until you close the browser. Temporary cookies make it possible to retain information when moving from one web page to another and remove the need to enter certain data repeatedly. Persistent cookies help identify your computer if you visit our website again, but they do not allow you to be identified personally in any way. Persistent cookies allow us to adapt our pages to your interests, but we cannot identify you personally in any way and the relevant data are stored completely anonymised and are not combined with any other data.

5. Please note that, under the personal data protection act, you have the right to:
– request information from us about which of your personal data we process, and possibly ask for a copy of this personal data,
– request an explanation from us regarding the processing of personal data,
– request access to these data and have them updated or corrected,
– request the erasure of these personal data.
